Holiday Drink Ideas
During the holidays, it’s fun to celebrate your festivity with creating food and drinks that are fitting for that season. If you’re hosting a holiday party at our private events facility, you can show your guests your creativity by serving drinks that remind them of the season. Here are some alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink ideas to serve at our holiday parties facility in Westchester.
Non-Alcoholic
- Gingerbread hot chocolate – First, mix together milk and vanilla and heat it over a stove. After it is boiling, add cocoa powder, molasses, cinnamon, ginger powder, nutmeg, and maple syrup. After it is all mixed together and heated through, you can top it with whipped cream, marshmallows, dark chocolate shavings, and a gingerbread man.
- Eggnog – Whisk together egg yolks with sugar until light and creamy. In a separate pan over heat, combine cream, milk, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Little by little, add the hot mixture to the eggs, whisking the entire time. After, add vanilla to the mixture and store it in the fridge to thicken.
- Grinch Punch – For this recipe, mix together unsweetened lemon-lime Kool-Aid, sugar, pineapple juice, frozen lemonade concentrate, sprite, and ice.
Alcoholic
- White chocolate cocktail – In a cocktail shaker, mix together heavy cream, vodka, peppermint schnapps, white crème de cocoa, and ice and then strain into a chilled glass. For an aesthetic touch, put streaks of chocolate sauce on the inside of the glass.
- Hot apple cider – In a large pot, mix together apple cider, apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and ginger and bring to a boil. Let it simmer for 5 minutes before removing it from heat and adding rum.
- Chai tea white Russian – To make the chai tea simple syrup, steep chai tea bags in boiling water and then add honey and vanilla. Then, add vodka, Kahlua, chai tea syrup, and heavy cream to the syrup mixture.
