  • Glitter balloons
If you don’t have enough money to buy a bunch of helium balloons to cover your ceiling for the celebration you can still pull it off with regular balloons, assortment of glitter and/or small sequins, some mod podge, a foam paint brush, something to catch the glitter on your table and mixing bowls. In fact, these balloons will make your celebration even more fabulous.

First you need to get the balloons inflated, and continue to mix different colours and sizes of glitter in the bowls and set them aside. Then make sure your surface is covered and prepared for you to work without damaging anything and hold the balloon round side up to start covering the bottom half of the balloon with mod podge. After applying the mod podge in an even coat, as quickly as possible, sprinkle the glitter mixture over ALL of the gluey surface. Repeat the process with all the balloons and then stick them to the ceiling with the round side facing to the floor.

  • Glitter candles
Similar to what you did with the balloons, prepare your work surface first and get your materials ready. You’ll need candles, glue and a brush, glitter, a tray and if you want stickers or paper cut-outs with your preferred motif.

Once everything’s ready grab the candles and cover them with the stickers or paper cut-outs to ensure these parts won’t be covered in glitter. Pour the glitter on a tray and you can mix different colours and sizes if you want. The next step is using your brush to apply the glue to the candles. Then the easiest way to cover the candles in glitter is making the candle roll over the glittered tray. After the candles are glittered tap them to shake off the excess and let them dry. Once dry, remove the stickers and cut-outs for a lovely final product

  • Ombre glitter champagne glasses
Before you get started with this project we highly recommend you use cheap champagne glasses or maybe even plastic ones if you don’t want to cover your fine crystal glasses with glitter.

Prepare your work surface and gather your materials, glasses, glitter, masking tape, glue, a brush and a tray. Use the tape to cover all the bits of the glass you don’t want to cover in glitter, especially the rim of the glass, we suggest you leave at least two inches from the rim down glitter-free, if you want to avoid getting glitter in your mouth as you drink. After you’ve covered the rim of the glass with tape, use the brush to apply glue on the glass and follow by rolling the gluey parts over the tray with glitter to make it stick to the glass. Finish with setting spray and let the glasses dry before removing the tape.

Serve the champagne and enjoy the party.
